Dylan Thomas (1914-1953) was a Welsh poet born in Uplands, United Kingdom. One of his most famous works, a villanelle titled "Do not go gentle into that good night," was written in 1947 and first published in a journal in 1951. The poem has been referenced in famous creative works and media to date.
